If you are taking time off during the holidays, and are not looking forward to returning to the hundreds or thousands of emails received while you were away, you can stay on top of them and other work tasks with remote desktop services that allow you to connect securely to your work email and apps from your home computer or mobile devices. For the days you are in the office, start each day by setting realistic expectations and what you want to accomplish for the day. Having expectations will help keep you focused and on task.
